I have a plumbing emergency, what should I do?

If water is leaking, turn off the water at the nearest isolating valve or at the mains valve outside. If you can’t find the water main shutoff valve or a tap to the fixture, then turn on all the cold faucets inside and out to help depressurise the system and minimise the leak.

Once that is done, give our team a ring, no matter what the day or time is. We’ll be there shortly to resolve the problem.

While you are waiting for the plumber to arrive, clear away any significant possessions close to the leak, and wipe up any water or put a bucket to catch any drips. If you turned the mains water off, also switch off the heating for the hot water as well.
